
The All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) announced that its member publications will observe a two-day closure on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. The holidays are scheduled for Wednesday, 27th May, and Thursday, 28th May.
As per the statement from APNS, there will be no morning newspapers published on Thursday, 28th May, and Friday, 29th May. Member publications are set to resume their normal editions on Saturday, 30th May. In addition, the announcement noted that evening newspapers would not be appearing on 27th and 28th May. However, these publications have the option to issue their editions on Friday, 29th May, should they choose to do so.
Dr. Tanvir A. Tahir, the Executive Director of APNS, confirmed that the schedule was finalised in connection with the Eid-ul-Azha holidays for member publications.
