On May 17, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore presided over the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected office-bearers of the Jammu Kashmir Union of Journalists, Poonch Division. The event took place at Sardar Palace Banguin, located in the Rawalakot district headquarters. Concurrently, former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan administered the oath to the newly elected office-bearers of the Sagheer Shaheed Press Club, Paniola.

During the ceremonies, both Rathore and Khan announced financial support amounting to Rs500,000 for each. This

Further support was extended by Member Kashmir Council Sardar Adnan Sayab Khalid, who declared he would provide a 10-marla piece of land for constructing the Sagheer Shaheed Press Club building.
