SWAT: Seven shops were destroyed on Wednesday night when a bomb planted near a barber shop in Mattah area went off.
According to police, the bomb was planted by some unknown miscreants who also opened fire at the police station after the blast. No causality was reported till filing of the report.
Meanwhile, a remote-controlled bomb was planted by unknown persons in a CD shop near KDA gate in Kohat was defused soon after Iftar on Wednesday.
