‘Burney’s visit to India beneficial for Pak prisoners

KARACHI – Sarim Burney, the Vice Chairman Ansar Burney Trust, said on Thursday that the visit of Ansar Burney to India would be beneficial for the Pakistani people and release and repatriation of Pakistani prisoners.

He said that, the visit of Ansar Burney would encourage the better relationship between India and Pakistan and also help the early release of Pakistanis from Indian Jails Sarim Burney.

He said that Ansar Burney Trust’s Chairman left for India on Wednesday for the release of Pakistani National confined in the India Jails, where he will meet the India authorities and request for the release repatriation of Pakistani prisoners held in Indian jails.

Ansar Burney, a human rights activist, works for distresses and cries of human beings without any discrimination of creed and colour and got released about 400,000 prisoners from jails.

Burney further said that the trust is trying very hard for the early release of Pakistani Prisoners from Indian Jails.

He further said that present visit of Ansar Burney will definitely promote the friendly relationship between the two neighbouring countries and hopefully the Pakistani prisoners from Indian Jails will released soon and meet with their families.
