KARACHI: The Council of Complaints of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Sindh) has advised people to approach it with complaints against television broadcasters and cable TV operators.

The inaugural meeting of Pemra’s CoC on Saturday maintained that subscribers had a right to quality content, expressing concern over the violation by broadcasters of regulations on foreign programmes and also over the airing of excessive advertisements.

The council recommended fines on cable operators who violate Pemra rules by airing channels banned by the authority. Complaints can be registered at Pemra office in Karachi (D-71, Block 7, Clifton). Phone 111-736-111.
