Karachi: On the directives of the Sindh governor, District Coordination Officer (DCO) of Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed on Wednesday called on the legendary singer Mehdi Hassan at a private hospital and presented him a cheque of Rs0.2 million along with a bouquet. Family members of Mehdi Hassan were also present. The DCO assured them that the city government would bear the expenditures incurred on his medical treatment.
