Human rights protection to be ensured: Zardari

OKARA: PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said the protection of human rights will be guaranteed and all anti-people laws will be eliminated.

Speaking at a meeting with MNA Rai Ghulam Mujtaba Kharal here on Sunday, he said the reconciliation process would continue for strengthening democracy. The rule of law would be ensured at all cost. The PPP would not let waste the sacrifice of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, he said and added the PPP workers would complete her mission.

He said the PPP would solve the people’s problems. Despite limited resources, the government would try its best to work for real democracy and welfare of the people, he said and added no diplomacy would be adopted to destabilise any national institution and measures would be taken to make institutions powerful.
