ISLAMABAD: The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) awarded here on Thursday three journalists Iqbal Jafri, Nasir Zaidi and Khawar Naeem Hashmi, who were flogged during Zia era.
The ceremony, chaired by President RIUJ Ashfaq Sajid, was held at the National Press Club. It was also attended by NPC President Afzal Butt, Secretary General RIUJ Asim Rana and other journalists.
