KARACHI- KASBIT, The recently chartered Information Technology (IT) University in Karachi, is likely to get assistance and support from the world financial bodies for promoting IT education in Pakistan.
This was stated by Syed Arif Ali Shah Bukhari the Chief Executive of KASBIT in an interview with this agency on his return here after a visit to the United States.
Arif Ali Bukhari, who met IMF and World Bank officials in Washington, said the bodies have showed their intent to support KASBIT for promotion of education in Information Technology. Bukhari said that keeping in view the lacking job opportunities for IT professionals in Pakistan, KASBIT has entered into an agreement with an American Company.
