The Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF) and the Balochistan Information Commission (BIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on promoting the Right to Information (RTI), enhancing media literacy, and building the capacity of journalists, media professionals, and government officials in Balochistan.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between the two institutions aimed at strengthening democratic governance, transparency, and public accountability through improved access to information.

Under the agreement, PPF and BIC will jointly design and implement RTI training programs, seminars, and awareness campaigns across Balochistan. The collaboration also includes developing educational resources, sharing technical expertise, and engaging with universities, press clubs, and public institutions to foster a culture of openness and proactive information-sharing.

Both organizations reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing the principles of transparency, freedom of expression, and responsible journalism in Pakistan. The collaboration aims to empower citizens, strengthen public institutions, and promote awareness of the Right to Information as a key tool for accountability and participatory governance.
