NCCIA arrests man in Rahim Yar Khan for alleged cyber blackmail of foreign women

On August 24, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested Muhammad Salman in Rahim Yar Khan for allegedly blackmailing foreign women by threatening to share their private images and personal information online unless they paid him money.

The agency seized his mobile phone and SIM card, which allegedly contained fabricated and objectionable images of several women.

According to the NCCIA, Salman obtained their personal data and photographs while working abroad and allegedly used the material after returning to Pakistan to create fake images and demand money.
