National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an online open court, termed E-Kachehri, to hear citizens’ complaints about cybercrime and direct officers to resolve them promptly.

An NCCIA official said on October 15 that citizens from different parts of the country raised issues involving financial fraud, social media harassment and other cyber-related offences through a video link. Rizvi reviewed the complaints and instructed the concerned officers on their resolution.

Emphasising a zero-tolerance policy towards online harassment of women, the DG directed officers to take swift, non-discriminatory action against those involved and prioritise such cases to ensure speedy justice.

Rizvi assured participants that every complaint would be taken seriously and handled individually according to its nature to provide timely relief. He said the initiative aimed to improve transparency and efficiency and give citizens direct access to the agency’s leadership without requiring them to visit NCCIA offices in person.
