Peshawar, June 29 2006: NWFP government ordered an inquiry against a journalist for leaking budget documents in Peshawar, the capital of North West Frontier Province (NWFP) of Paksitan According to media reports Asif Wadood, reporter of a Peshawar-based daily newspaper “Aaj”, was summoned to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to reveal the source that had leaked him the budget details on June 16, a day before it was presented in the provincial assembly on June 17.

Mr. Wadood was summoned to the secretariat where he was asked to reveal the source that helped him to get the details about the budget. He refused to reveal his source.
