On September 5, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomed the opening of Pakistan TV’s first bureau office in Peshawar, describing it as an important step towards improving the province’s soft image and strengthening the national broadcaster.

Kundi praised Pakistan TV for its professional progress and appreciated Chairman Adil Shahzeb, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Secretary Information Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil for their efforts in establishing and strengthening the bureau.

He said the new office would help positively project Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and highlighted Pakistan TV’s role in countering anti-Pakistan narratives and presenting the country’s perspective internationally through responsible journalism.

Kundi expressed confidence in the leadership of Tarar and Khalil and Shahzeb’s expertise, hoping Pakistan TV would continue to grow and strengthen its role in the global media landscape.
