Karachi: The national postal service, Pakistan Post, is releasing a commemorative postage stamp of Rs 10 denomination in the ‘Poets of Pakistan’ series, in tribute of legendary poetess Parveen Shakir.
The stamp has been designed by Adil Salahuddin (Sitara-e-Imtiaz/Pride of Performance) and printed by Pakistan Security Printing Corporation, Karachi. The commemorative postage stamp will be available for sale from December 26 at all important post offices across the country.
Similarly, the Pakistan Post has also announced plans to release a commemorative postal stamp of Rs 8 denomination on the 150 years of faithful services of the Pakistan Bible Society. The stamp has been designed by Liaquat Ali and printed by Pakistan Security Printing Corporation, Karachi.
The commemorative stamp will be available for sale from December 28 at all the important post office in Pakistan.
