ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and cellular companies on Thursday signed a joint framework under which it was agreed that only those SIMs would be activated which are sold through registered sales channels.
According to a PTA’s announcement on Thursday, the regulator and cellular operators signed a joint framework to move forward towards a new era in mobile subscriber authentication and authorisation.
