Pakistan Television (PTV) plans to collaborate with universities across the country to provide media and communication students with practical training, industry exposure and professional opportunities.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting in Islamabad between PTV Head Adil Shahzeb and Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar. Shahzeb highlighted the potential benefits of linking PTV with university Media and Communication departments to provide students with hands-on experience and professional training.
Qamar welcomed the initiative and stressed the importance of stronger cooperation between educational institutions and the media industry to equip students with relevant skills and practical experience.
The proposed collaboration aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional media practice and prepare students for careers in the media sector.
