Sangi murder case accused held

LARKANA, June 10 2006: A team of Larkana Police raided an area of Punjab on a tip-off on May 11 and arrested main accused Madad Ali alias Madoo Unnar involved in the murder of photo-journalist Munir Ahmed Sangi, police sources said. Munir Ahmed Sangi was murdered on May 29, 2006 while performing his duties during a clash between Unnar and Abro tribes, near Samaiu Unnar village, in the outskirts of Larkana.

According to the sources, District Police Officer (DPO) Larkana Irfan Baloch constituted a team, headed by Town Police Officer Saddar, Muhammad Yousuf Rind, which raided the tipped place in Punjab and arrested Madad Ali.-APP
