ISLAMABAD- The News is pleased to announce that Mr Shaheen Sehbai, a senior journalist of outstanding merit, has joined the newspaper as its editor.

Mr Sehbai, Who brings with him 30 years of experience in the profession, has held various positions in Pakistan and abroad and was until recently the Washington correspondent for Dawn.

During his illustrious career, Mr Sehbal earned respect and distinction within the country and abroad for his professionalism, courage and incisive writings. He has won several journalism awards. He will be incharge of all the tour editions of The News, coming out of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and London.

Mr Imran Aslam who has been associated with The News since inception and has also served as Editor Karachi and is currently Senior Editor has been made Consulting Editor.
