The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore arrested TikToker Muhammad Shahzaib, also known as Shahzaib Sialkoti, for allegedly harassing a female journalist through offensive social media videos.

The suspect was arrested during a raid at City Housing Society in Sialkot following the journalist’s complaint. Officials seized two mobile phones. A technical examination reportedly found active Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts, with the alleged video recovered from one device.

Investigators also found that the suspect’s social media accounts were monetised and linked to a private bank account. During interrogation, Shahzaib reportedly admitted uploading the video on September 10, 2026, but said he later deleted it. Cyber experts recovered the evidence through digital analysis.

The NCCIA said it would pursue legal action under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016, and submit a charge sheet to the court.
