Ch. Muhammad Ashraf took oath as Chairman of the Sahiwal Press Club for the 2026-27 term at a ceremony held at the club. The oath was administered by former chairman and Supreme Council Member Aziz-ul-Haq Goraya.

Sahiwal Press Club President Rana Javed Nisar announced Ashraf’s nomination for the chairmanship. Club officials, council members and former office-bearers attended the ceremony and congratulated the newly appointed chairman. Ashraf thanked the members for their trust and pledged to address the journalist community’s issues and improve the Press Club’s facilities and operations.

Nisar also presented shields to Supreme Council members Prince Inayat Khan and Sheikh Azad Raheel in recognition of their contributions to journalism.
