A delegation of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) and Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) met Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry in Rawalpindi to discuss the national situation, media-related challenges, national security and regional developments.

The participants paid tribute to the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces and ISPR during Marka-e-Haq.

The delegation appreciated the ISPR’s provision of timely information and its efforts to counter propaganda from Indian media.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry praised the Pakistani media for its responsible conduct and journalistic standards maintained by Pakistani media during the Battle of Truth, which helped effectively counter negative external narratives.
